Right in the middle of winter we still have Pumas to support. The Kitsap Pumas U-17’s, coached by James Ritchie, have been playing in Seattle lately. Hellcats were on hand to see the guys both January 3rd and January 9th as they tackled opponents from around the state. The boys really appreciate the support and we’ve begun to get to know many of them by name. We’ll try to keep up to date with their schedule right here on Hellcats.us.

The Kitsap Pumas are letting the Hellcats prowl the south end bleachers in 2010! (Closest to where the players enter the field). We will have a special season ticket laminated pass with the Pumas and Hellcats logo on it that will get you into matches. More details are coming later, but you can order your unique Hellcats 2010 season tickets online right now at Brown Paper Tickets. Use the password “Hellcats.”

The Hellcats had their first meeting ever on December 5th at Cookie’s Clubhouse Bar and Grill in Bremerton. Nine members were there to talk about the directions for 2010 and to watch Michelle, owner of the Clubhouse, put a Pumas scarf above the main mirror you see as you walk into the restaurant!
NOTES: The Hellcats will travel with the Pumas to road matches as much as possible in 2010. There are special new flags being made. The group has adopted the south endzone stands as their permanent home (bleachers closest to Bremerton High). The group is still looking for a logo / crest to adopt. Myrt will work with Michelle to further Puma-ize the Clubhouse. Michelle is open to menu suggestions and even having Pumas-specific names for menu choices. Jenni will work with Michelle to get a Clubhouse webpage online. Hellcats.us will link with the Clubhouse. Jenni is a part of “Moms for the Pumas,” and shared some of the match-day promotions planned for 2010. The Hellcats will have a presence at pre-season matches and tryouts. Ian will look into renting a van for away trips. Farben will look into getting / making more flags. The Pumas and Vicki could be helping with opening night Hellcats promotions.
